|Cecelia Mary Warner, age 92, of Raber, Michigan, died Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Tendercare in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. She was born May 19, 1918 in Cedarville, Michigan, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Belinski) Dumback.
Cecelia grew up in the Stalwart/Sand Ridge area and Raber was her home for most of her adult life. She met Parley Edward Warner at a 4th of July Picnic in Goetzville and they were married on June 22, 1940. Cecelia loved gardening and was a slave to her strawberry and raspberry patches. She made the most wonderful berry pies for family and friends. She also enjoyed playing bingo. Cecelia made baby blankets for all the babies in her family and for most of the surrounding community. No one was a stranger to Cecelia as she loved to visit with everyone she met and learn about their families.
Cecelia was a member of the St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church and the Raber Senior Citizens. |
|Cecelia is survived by four sons, Roger (Brenda) Warner of Levering, Michigan, Norman (Betsy) Warner of Pellston, Michigan, Richard (Carol) Warner of Niles, Michigan, and Charles (Jill) Warner of Raber; four daughters, Patricia Pontbriand of Petoskey, Michigan, Darlene (Ken) Sieradski of Petoskey, Linda Bunner of Moore, South Carolina, and Mary (Norman) Guild of DeTour Village, Michigan; 20 grandchildren, Wade Warner, Brad (Michelle) Warner, Kay (Roger) Bunker, Bill Warner, John (Audrey) Warner, Katie Warner, Duane (Carol) Pontbriand, Donna (Gary) Cannon, Diane (Brian) Florenski, Denise (Peter) Gouza, Cheryl Sieradski, Kenny Sieradski, Dan Sieradski, Chris Bunner, Jon (Renee) Bunner, Richie Warner, Rebecca Warner, Norman (Marci) Guild, Kristin Guild and Sarah (Bryce) Harrison; and 21 great grandchildren, Dylan Warner, Justin Warner, Brin Warner, Mallory Bunker, Regan Bunker, Samantha Pontbriand, Sarah Pontbriand, Katie Cannon, Tyler Cannon, Robert Ouimette, Lori Florinski, Andrew Florinski, Jacob Florinski, Chuckie Sieradski, Colton Sieradski, Christen Bunner, Holly Bunner, Raquel Warner, Kennedy Guild, Finley Guild, and Avery Harrison. Also surviving are one sister, Mary Clark of Dafter, Michigan, and one brother, Vernon (Carolyn) Dumback of Sault Ste. Marie.
Cecelia was preceded in death by her husband, Parley; three sons, Lawrence, Ashley, and Harvey Warner; five brothers, Alec, Edward, Peter, Albert, and Victor Dumback; and son-in-law, Norman Pontbriand. |
